The Sandy Bay Caravan Park was a huge council owned caravan site for both travelling and static caravans. It closed a
few years ago due to the deterioration of the caravans and the small number of bookings. The site is now derelict and is included
in the new Porthcawl regeneragion plan. However, the remains of buildings, electricity points and signs are still visible.
